06:04 AM EDT, 07/29/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Sandoz Group (SDZ.SW) said Wednesday Brazil's Agência Nacional de Vigilancia Sanitária granted marketing authorization to Owozy as a treatment for type 2 diabetes. The medicine will be commercialized by the Swiss company in partnership with Adalvo, which also developed the drug, according to a Wednesday release. Owozy, or semaglutide, is expected to be launched in Brazil in the second half.
