Tiptree Inc. (NASDAQ:TIPT) ("Tiptree" or the "Company"), today announced it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Universal Shield Insurance Group ("USIG"), a specialty property & casualty insurer operating in both admitted and excess & surplus ("E&S") markets for cash consideration of $100 million.
