11:28 PM EDT, 07/29/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Deutsche Lufthansa (LHA.F) said Wednesday it submitted a bid to secure an initial minority shareholding in Portugal's flag carrier, TAP Air Portugal. The German airline company placed the bid with Portuguese state-owned investment company Parpública. It said the offer is intended to launch a long-term partnership between the airlines.
