11:31 PM EDT, 07/29/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Air France-KLM (AF.PA) submitted a binding offer for an up to 49.9% stake in Tap Air Portugal, according to a Wednesday release. The offer, submitted to Portuguese state holding company Parpública, is for a stake between 44.9% and 49.9% as part of the target airline's privatization process. Air France-KLM said if the offer is successful, it intends to develop new maintenance, repair and overhaul activities in Portugal and establish Lisbon as its Southern European hub.
