01:38 AM EDT, 07/30/2026 (MT Newswires) -- The board of Fincantieri (FCT.MI) cleared its merger with its dry docks operator subsidiary Bacini di Palermo, according to a Wednesday release. The merger, which will see Bacini di Palermo incorporated into the Italian shipbuilder, supports Fincantieri's plan to streamline its operations, while also decreasing costs.
