The contract covers four Dreadnought-class submarines that are expected to be the "biggest, most powerful and technically advanced" for the country's Royal Navy. Delivery is targeted for the early 2030s. The aerospace and defense company said the contract is part of the 8.4 billion pounds that the UK Parliament allocated for the Ministry of Defence.
