03:07 AM EDT, 07/30/2026 (MT Newswires) -- BBVA (BBVA.MC) plans to launch an extraordinary share buyback program of 2 billion euros. The Spanish lender said Thursday the first tranche of 1 billion euros will start on Aug. 5. The company noted that it has "virtually" executed the final tranche of the ongoing 4 billion-euro share buyback.
