07:02 AM EDT, 07/30/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Intervacc (IVACC.ST) said Thursday it filed a Type II variation application with the European Medicines Agency to extend the immunity duration of its Strangvac horse vaccine to 12 months. The Swedish animal health group's application is based on data that showed sustained protective antibody levels in horses for a period of 12 months following vaccination. Strangvac protects horses against strangles, which is a potentially lethal infectious disease.
