On a per-share basis, the Lancaster, Pennsylvania-based company said it had profit of $1.44. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to $1.76 per share.

The financial communications and data services provider posted revenue of $224.2 million in the period.

For the current quarter ending in September, Donnelley Financial said it expects revenue in the range of $175 million to $185 million.
