On a per-share basis, the Calgary, Alberta-based company said it had net income of 45 cents.

The oil and natural gas company posted revenue of $1.57 billion in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $1.05 billion.

Arc Resources shares have risen 25% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $23.60, an increase of 18% in the last 12 months.
