Fitch Lowers Salik's Outlook to Negative on Dubai Credit Outlook Revision

12:54 AM EDT, 07/31/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Fitch on Thursday affirmed its long-term issuer default rating on Salik (DFM:SALIK) at A and revised the outlook to negative from stable. The outlook change reflects a similar revision to the credit outlook of the government of Dubai, which indirectly owns a 75% stake in the Dubai-listed tollgate operator. Fitch said Salik's standalone credit profile, which was maintained at a, is supported by its "exclusive position" in Dubai's toll-road network, low leverage, and long concession agreement.
