Hong Kong Express will increase fuel surcharges by 20% to HK$198 for Hong Kong flights to the Mainland starting tomorrow

The Zhitong Finance App learned that on July 31, Hong Kong Express, a subsidiary of Cathay Pacific (00293), announced an increase in fuel surcharges starting tomorrow (August 1). According to the latest fare schedule, the flight segment departing from Hong Kong to other regions other than mainland China increased by about 41% from HK$241 to HK$339, while the flight segment between Hong Kong and mainland China increased from HK$165 to HK$198, an increase of 20%.

Hong Kong Express stated that the fuel surcharge will be adjusted according to the fuel price, and the cost will be calculated per passenger and each flight segment.
