03:35 AM EDT, 07/31/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Ericsson (ERIBR.HE, ERIC-A.ST, ERIC-B.ST) received a contract to provide its RAN Compute platform for NTT Docomo's networks in Japan. Platform deployment commenced in July, the telecommunications company said in a Friday release. The platform is equipped for 4G, 5G and 5G Advanced, and is capable of handling enhanced artificial intelligence and machine learning workloads, the company added.
