03:55 AM EDT, 07/31/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Orkla (ORK.OL) unit Orkla Snacks agreed to purchase vegan sugar confectionery products company The European Candy Group for an enterprise value of 207 million euros on a cash- and debt-free basis. The acquisition is expected to support the continued growth of the Bubs candy in the Nordic markets and help expand the product's European footprint, the industrial investment company said in a Friday release. The transaction is scheduled to close by the end of the third quarter or early in the fourth quarter, subject to customary regulatory approvals.
