04:00 AM EDT, 07/31/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Rheinmetall (RHM.F) secured a contract valued in the low three-digit million euro range to supply weapon systems for the British Army's RCH 155 wheeled howitzers, according to a Friday release. Following qualification of the 155-millimeter L/52 remote-controlled weapon system, the German arms maker will deliver 72 elevating masses and on-board tools. Deliveries are scheduled between May 2028 and June 2031. The company will manufacture the weapon systems at its new gun production facility in Telford, UK.
