06:37 AM EDT, 07/31/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Hexpol (HPOL-B.ST) said Friday it is purchasing Italian wire and cable compounder Vipa Group from the Paolini family for 143.5 million euros. The deal covers the Vi.pa and Vi.pa Polimeri companies, as well as two production sites in Italy and a research and development center. Completion is expected in the third quarter of 2026. The Sweden-listed advanced polymer compounding company said the acquisition will strengthen its wire and cable business while expanding its exposure to electrification, data centers, telecom and smart buildings.
