09:51 AM EDT, 07/31/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Airbus' (AIR.PA) subsidiary Airbus Defence and Space secured a contract from Hisdesat to develop and construct the secure communications satellite SpainSat NG-III. Under the deal, the French planemaker's unit will serve as prime contractor and handle the design, integration, and testing of the satellite across its facilities, according to a Friday release.
