12:06 AM EDT, 08/03/2026 (MT Newswires) -- BNP Paribas (BNP.PA) vehicle leasing unit Arval concluded the purchase of Mercedes-Benz Group's (MBG.F) former subsidiary Athlon. The conclusion of the deal follows the completion of an employee representative consultation process and receipt of all required approvals, the French lender said July 31. BNP Paribas expects the transaction to provide a positive contribution of close to 200 million euros to the group's net income group share by year three.
