Capita Wins GBP425 Million Extension for London Road User Charging Deals

04:53 AM EDT, 08/03/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Capita (CPI.L) secured a five-year extension worth 424.6 million pounds sterling for its two road user charging contracts with Transport for London. The extended contracts will run from October 2026 to September 2031, with options to further extend until September 2033, according to a Monday release. The business process outsourcing group will remain the systems and service integrator and operator for London's road user charging schemes, including the Congestion Charge, Ultra Low Emission Zone, Low Emission Zone and Tunnels User Charging.
