U.S. stock futures were higher this morning, with the Dow futures gaining around 400 points on Monday.

Shares of AstraZeneca PLC (NYSE:AZN) dipped 6% to $159.54 in pre-market trading.

AstraZeneca is reportedly in discussions with Bristol Myers Squibb (NYSE:BMY) to merge, potentially forming a pharmaceutical giant valued at nearly $400 billion.

Apple shares dipped 7.4% to $309.00 in pre-market trading.

• Apnimed Inc (NASDAQ:APMD) shares dipped 9.4% to $22.68 in pre-market trading after surging 56% on Friday.
• United Microelectronics Corp (NYSE:UMC) shares tumbled 7.5% to $17.61 in pre-market trading.
• Alvotech SA (NASDAQ:ALVO) declined 7.3 to $3.82 in pre-market trading after gaining 15% on Friday. The company, last week, announced the FDA has closed its inspection of its Reykjavik manufacturing facility, classifying the site as Voluntary Action Indicated.
• Digital Currency X Technology Inc (NASDAQ:DCX) fell 6.4% to $1.01 in pre-market trading after declining 13% on Friday. DCX, last week, announced open-market share purchase by chief executive officer.
• GameStop Corp (NYSE:GME) declined 6.2% to $20.37 in pre-market trading. GameStop announced private exchange of $1.4 billion of convertible senior notes for equity.
• Snap Inc (NYSE:SNAP) fell 6.2% to $4.40 in pre-market trading. Snap will release its second quarter earnings report after the closing bell on Monday, Aug. 3.
• LiveWire Group Inc (NYSE:LVWR) fell 5.5% to $1.71 in pre-market trading after dipping 12% on Friday.
• W&T Offshore, Inc. (NYSE:WTI) declined 4.7% to $3.42 in pre-market trading after falling around 4% on Friday.
• Kosmos Energy Ltd (NYSE:KOS) fell 4.5% to $2.57 in pre-market trading following second-quarter results.
• Talos Energy Inc (NYSE:TALO) declined 4.2% to $14.55 in pre-market trading after gaining over 6% on Friday.
• Diamondback Energy Inc (NASDAQ:FANG) fell 4.1% to $194.64 in pre-market trading.
• Royalty Pharma plc (NASDAQ:RPRX) declined 4% to $56.10 in pre-market trading.
• Penn West Petroleum Ltd (NYSE:OBE) fell 4% to $10.30 in pre-market trading after rising around 6% on Friday.
