Prysmian to Buy Electrical Infrastructure Group Atkore in $3.8 Billion Deal

10:59 AM EDT, 08/03/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Prysmian (PRY.MI) agreed to acquire electrical and infrastructure company Atkore for $95 per share in cash, or an implied enterprise value of $3.8 billion. The definitive merger agreement will expand the Italian cable manufacturer's presence in North America and create a leading electrical infrastructure services company, according to a Monday release. The deal is also expected to open new research and development opportunities from combining cables with adjacent components.
