11:41 PM EDT, 08/03/2026 (MT Newswires) -- German biopharmaceutical company BioNTech (22UA.F) appointed Guido Oelkers as its new chief executive officer to succeed Ugur Sahin, effective Feb. 1, 2027. Oelkers served as the CEO of Swedish pharmaceutical company Swedish Orphan Biovitrum (SOBI.ST), or Sobi, according to a Monday release.
