Smith+Nephew Reports Higher H1 Profit, Revenue

02:29 AM EDT, 08/04/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Smith & Nephew (SN.L) said Tuesday its attributable profit and revenue increased year over year. Profit attributable to equity holders of the parent for the six months ended June 27 was $303 million, compared with $293 million earlier. EPS moved to $0.352 from $0.333. The medical technology company's revenue was $3.10 billion, compared with $2.96 billion a year ago. Meanwhile, the board approved an interim dividend of $0.156 per share for the period, payable Nov. 6 to shareholders on record Oct. 2. It paid $0.150 per share in the year-ago period. For the second half, the group expects revenue growth in the 5% to 5.5% range. Full-year revenue is expected to increase 4%, compared with an earlier projection of around 6%. On a reported basis, second-half revenue growth is expected in the 5.1% to 5.6% range, with full-year revenue growth of 5.2%, based on exchange rates prevailing on July 31, 2026.
