CSG Unit Acquires German Industrial Site

03:36 AM EDT, 08/04/2026 (MT Newswires) -- CSG's (CSG.AS) German subsidiary, CSG Energetic Materials Germany, completed its purchase of the 57-hectare Gnaschwitz industrial site in Saxony, Germany, from Maxam for an undisclosed amount, according to a Tuesday release. The industrial and technology group said it plans to invest more than 100 million euros in the initial development phase, including the construction of facilities to produce nitroglycerin and nitroglycerin-based products. CSG also intends to establish ammunition and ammunition-component manufacturing operations at the site. The site is expected to create up to 125 new jobs after the planned projects are completed.
