04:22 AM EDT, 08/04/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Great Western Mining (8GW.IR, GWMO.L) expects to start drilling at its Defender tungsten project in Nevada, US, in the next two weeks, following the completion of preparatory work at the site. The minerals exploration and development company said Tuesday that assay results are anticipated through September and October, with a maiden JORC mineral resource estimate on track to be delivered by the end of the fourth quarter. Geological and mining consultancy Addison Mining Services was tapped as the independent competent person for the development of the maiden resource estimate.
