05:36 AM EDT, 08/04/2026 (MT Newswires) -- British aerospace and defense company BAE Systems (BA.L) secured a three-year contract worth 135 million pounds sterling from the UK government to maintain and repair torpedo weapons for the Royal Navy. The deal runs from July 2026 to June 2029, covering the Spearfish and Sting Ray torpedoes used by submarines, surface warships and maritime patrol aircraft to protect Britain's waters, according to a Tuesday release.
