St. John Properties, Inc. announced the sale of a 13.52-acre parcel to The Home Depot, marking a significant milestone for Lexington Exchange, its 140-acre mixed-use business community in Maryland.

St. John Properties’ Alex Lyons, Assistant Vice President, Acquisitions and Bill Holzman, Senior Vice President, Retail, handled negotiations on behalf of the developer, while Greg Ferrante, Executive Vice President of Segall Group, represented the purchaser.
The Home Depot has committed to Lexington Exchange with plans to open its first location in southern Maryland.

The retailer will join grocery store ALDI, convenience store Royal Farms, Chipotle Mexican Grill, and RC Theatres. Lexington Exchange currently comprises five buildings, totaling approximately 120,000 square feet of flex and R&D space and 65,000 square feet of retail. The park is configured to support approximately 600,000 square feet of commercial space. St. John Properties and development partner Chaney Enterprises are also marketing several pad sites at Lexington Exchange suitable for restaurants, financial institutions, or urgent care facilities.
