Ahold Delhaize Reports Lower H1 Net Income, Net Sales

01:54 AM EDT, 08/05/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Koninklijke Ahold Delhaize (AD.AS) said Wednesday that its net income and net sales for the first half decreased year over year. Net income attributable to common shareholders for the 26 weeks ended June 28, 2026, was 1.08 billion euros, compared with 1.10 billion euros earlier. EPS moved to 1.22 euros from 1.21 euros. The food retail group's net sales were 45.44 billion euros, compared with 46.37 billion euros a year ago. Meanwhile, the board declared an unchanged dividend of 0.51 euro per share for the interim period. The company reiterated its guidance for 2026, which includes growth in dividend per share and a mid- to high-single-digit increase at constant exchange rates in diluted underlying EPS.
