03:25 AM EDT, 08/05/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Deutsche Telekom's (DTE.F) second-quarter earnings report is expected by analysts at Morgan Stanley Research to put a spotlight on the German telecommunications group's home market. "[The company] raised German broadband prices, by + EUR3/mth, in early April (back book tariff increase, applies to half the user base). We therefore expect to see slightly better fixed / Total domestic service revenue growth rates," the earnings preview note said. "On the downside, investors will be watching for signs of broadband net adds weakness (as a result of higher broadband churn) - as some subscribers spin / react negatively to the price increase." The research firm also expects the results to show a "marginal wholesale weakness" and an uptick in German EBITDAaL growth. Comments on a rumored deal with T-Mobile US and share buybacks are also anticipated. The company, which is rated overweight, is scheduled to publish its results Thursday.
