04:06 AM EDT, 08/05/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Ferrexpo (FXPO.L) said Wednesday that production of iron ore products in Ukraine will be suspended temporarily as the war materially restricted its Black Sea export logistics routes. The decision followed a fatal attack by Russian drones in late July on a vessel transporting the London-listed iron ore pellets producer's DR-grade pellets. The company halted shipments through the Ukrainian waters of the Black Sea following the incident. Ferrexpo said the resumption of iron ore production in Ukraine is subject to additional working capital, among other conditions. It noted that its current net accessible cash resources are expected to last until mid-September.
