UK's International Reserves Fall in July

05:46 AM EDT, 08/05/2026 (MT Newswires) -- The UK government's gross reserve assets declined to $220.13 billion in July from $225.75 billion in June, according to Bank of England data published Wednesday. The amount consists of $123.10 billion in foreign currency reserves, $7.36 billion in International Monetary Fund reserve position, $38.92 billion in special drawing rights, $40.38 billion in gold, and $10.36 billion in other reserve assets.
