Sarco Unit's MoU for Green Ammonia Purchase Expires

11:08 AM EDT, 08/05/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Saudi Arabian Refineries Co. (SASE:2030), d/b/a Sarco, said Wednesday its nonbinding memorandum of understanding with AGR Renewable Energy to purchase green ammonia has expired without a binding agreement. In February, the petroleum refining company's unit Clean Energy Co. signed the MoU to acquire the entire production from the proposed green ammonia plant in Jazan Industrial City in Saudi Arabia. Sarco said the expiry of the MoU does not generate any financial obligations for the company.
