Texas Christian University, American Campus Communities(ACC), and The Beck Group, marked a key topping out milestone for an on-campus residential development.

The new residential community will deliver more than 2,500 beds across a mix of modern first-year residence halls and townhome-style housing for sophomores. The community is expected to open in fall 2027.

It’s designed in partnership with Robert A.M. Stern Architects. The project will be delivered through a third-party, fee-based development structure. TCU will maintain institutional ownership.

Pod-style residence halls will foster community-building for first-year students, while townhomes will offer upper-division students greater independence.

Construction remains on schedule, with the new residential community expected to welcome students for the Fall 2027 semester. The topping out milestone represents a significant step toward delivering one of the largest residential investments in TCU’s history. The project is part of a master plan for the Fort Worth school that has a budget of $500 million.
