OC Oerlikon Returns to H1 Net Profit; Total Sales Up

12:49 AM EDT, 08/06/2026 (MT Newswires) -- OC Oerlikon (OERL.SW) said Thursday that it swung to a net profit in the first half, while total sales increased year over year. Net result attributable to shareholders of the parent for the six months ended June 30 was 325 million francs, compared with a net loss of 31 million francs a year ago. EPS was 0.99 franc, compared with a loss per share of 0.10 franc. The Swiss materials and surface technology company's total sales were 790 million francs, compared with 786 million francs earlier. For the full year 2026, the company raised its sales guidance and now anticipates mid-single-digit percent growth at constant foreign exchange rates. It previously forecasted sales to increase by low single digits.
