KBC Group Logs Higher H1 Attributable Result, Total Income

01:26 AM EDT, 08/06/2026 (MT Newswires) -- KBC Group (KBC.BR) said Thursday that its attributable result and total income for the first half rose year over year. Result attributable to equity holders of the parent company for the six months ended June 30 was 1.71 billion euros, compared with 1.56 billion euros earlier. EPS moved to 4.15 euros from 3.82 euros. The bank-insurance group's total income was 6.66 billion euros, compared with 5.96 billion euros a year ago. Meanwhile, the board declared an unchanged interim dividend of 1 euro per share for the period, payable on Nov. 6. KBC updated its full-year 2026 outlook, increasing its net interest income guidance to 7.05 billion euros from at least 6.75 billion euros previously. The lender also lifted its total income growth forecast to 11% year over year, up from its earlier guidance of at least 9.9%.
