The Zhitong Finance App learned that on August 3, DBS Group announced the appointment of Jonathan Larsen (Jonathan Larsen) to join the DBS Group Holdings and DBS Bank board of directors, effective immediately.

Luo Zhongheng, 60, was responsible for introducing new technologies, platforms and business models from working at Ping An China in May 2017 until his retirement in February of this year. He was the chief innovation executive of Ping An Group of China and the chairman and CEO of the Ping An Global Pilot Fund.

Before joining Ping An, Luo Zhongheng worked for Citigroup for 18 years. Before leaving his job, he was responsible for Citibank's retail banking and mortgage business in 19 countries. He was also the head of Citibank's Asia Pacific consumer finance business and the head of Singapore.

DBS Group Holdings announced that in the first half of this year, DBS's total revenue and net profit increased by 3% and 5%, respectively, to reach S$12 billion and S$6.01 billion, both of which reached record highs.
