03:51 AM EDT, 08/06/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Harworth Group (HWG.L) received a takeover proposal from UK infrastructure investor Peel Holdings Group, valuing the London-listed property developer at 582.9 million pounds sterling. Peel Holdings, through Peel Pepper (UK), offered 1.725 pounds in cash for each Harworth share held, according to a Thursday filing. Peel Holdings unit Goodweather Holdings already owns a 29.96% stake in Harworth. Peel Holdings intends to cancel Harworth's trading on the London bourse if the offer receives valid acceptances from at least 75% of the voting rights of Harworth.
