05:11 AM EDT, 08/06/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Berenberg lifted its price target and forecasts for Unilever (ULVR.L, UNA.AS) after the consumer goods giant's second-quarter results, highlighting its consensus-beating volume increase as the best quarterly growth in over 15 years. "Successful activation of its Personal Care brands around the FIFA World Cup, improving performance of its wellbeing portfolio, and market share gains in Home Care contributed to its strong performance. The company now targets c3% volume growth for FY26 (previously at least c2%). The stock now trades on a 12-month forward P/E of 16.6x, in line with its five-year average and c4% ahead of its 20-year average," analysts wrote in a note published Wednesday. "We believe a further rerating in the near-term could be inhibited by the pending Foods division merger with McCormick, with completion expected by mid-2027." As such, the price target for Unilever's London-listed stock was raised to 50.50 pounds sterling from 50.40 pounds, and to 58.90 euros from 57.90 euros for its Amsterdam listing. The stock's hold rating was reiterated. The research firm also bumped up its full-year 2026 EPS and sales forecasts by 0.7% and 0.6%, respectively, and the EBIT estimate by 0.5%. For 2027 and 2028, the projections for all three metrics were also upwardly revised.
