Ooredoo Invests in Indonesian AI Compute, Neocloud Platform Zankore

11:23 AM EDT, 08/06/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Ooredoo (ADX:ORDS) made a strategic investment in the first-of-its-kind artificial intelligence compute and neocloud platform Zankore, according to a Thursday release. The Abu Dhabi-listed communications company will contribute $800 million for the launch and initial development of the Indonesian platform as a founding shareholder and lead investor with a 49% stake. Zankore, developed alongside Ooredoo and CK Hutchison-backed Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, Nokia (NOKIA.HE), and Nvidia (NVD.F), is expected to deliver 200 megawatts of AI capacity in the first half of 2027.
