Citibank: CLP Holdings (00002)'s profit for the first half of the year slightly exceeded expectations and achieved growth in all major regions

The Zhitong Finance App learned that according to the Citigroup report, CLP Holdings (00002)'s profit for the first half of the year slightly exceeded expectations. Mid-term profit increased 6.6% year-on-year to HK$5.997 billion, exceeding market expectations of HK$5.62 billion. Operating profit, excluding changes in fair value, increased 9.7% year over year to HK$5.733 billion. The profit improvement was mainly due to increased contributions from all major overseas markets and continued growth in regulated businesses in Hong Kong. The rating is “neutral”, and the target price is HK$78.

During this period, Hong Kong's operating profit increased 6% year over year to HK$4.736 billion.
