11:35 PM EDT, 08/06/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Assicurazioni Generali (G.MI) will initiate a program to repurchase up to 500 million euros of treasury shares on Aug. 10. The share repurchase program is set to run until December and will be carried out by Banco Santander on the Euronext Milan market, according to a Thursday release. The Italian insurer plans to cancel the repurchased treasury shares.
