Listen to the news

From what we can see, insiders were net buyers in Class 1 Nickel and Technologies Limited's (CSE:NICO ) during the past 12 months. That is, insiders acquired the stock in greater numbers than they sold it.

While insider transactions are not the most important thing when it comes to long-term investing, we do think it is perfectly logical to keep tabs on what insiders are doing.

The Last 12 Months Of Insider Transactions At Class 1 Nickel and Technologies

In the last twelve months, the biggest single purchase by an insider was when President David Fitch bought CA$2.0m worth of shares at a price of CA$0.12 per share. So it's clear an insider wanted to buy, at around the current price, which is CA$0.13. While their view may have changed since the purchase was made, this does at least suggest they have had confidence in the company's future. We do always like to see insider buying, but it is worth noting if those purchases were made at well below today's share price, as the discount to value may have narrowed with the rising price. In this case we're pleased to report that the insider bought shares at close to current prices. David Fitch was the only individual insider to buy during the last year.
