Bold Analyst Declares the 'Bitcoin Bull Market Is Here'—3 Signals Why He May Be Right

Listen to the news

Crypto analyst Ali Martinez says the Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC) bull market has arrived, pointing to three signals on the monthly chart that have historically aligned with major cycle bottoms.

What The Three Signals Are Saying

Ali Charts posted a five-part thread on X laying out the case. The first signal is a TD Sequential buy on Bitcoin’s monthly chart, the same indicator that flagged the 2022 market bottom.

The second is Bitcoin trading near its 50-month simple moving average, a multi-year support level that has repeatedly marked major bottoms since 2014.

The third is the Chande Momentum Oscillator resetting to negative 71, the same reading that appeared in June when Bitcoin fell toward $57,000.

Each of those levels has historically coincided with cycle lows rather than continued downside.

Ali Charts said Bitcoin could still consolidate between $60,000 and $67,000 near term, but said the combination of all three signals suggests a macro bottom may already be in place.

What ETF Flows Are Confirming?

Bitcoin ETFs pulled in $128.69 million Thursday, with BlackRock’s IBIT (NASDAQ:IBIT) leading at $128.33 million and Morgan Stanley (NYSE:MSBT) adding $14.94 million, according to SoSoValue data.

Meanwhile, VanEck Bitcoin ETF (CBOE: HODL)  saw $32.77 million in outflows and Valkyrie BTC ETF (NASDAQ:BRRR) bled $9.07 million, dragging the headline number down from what would have been a stronger session.

The weekly total hit $754.69 million with one day still left to count, the strongest weekly inflow since late April.

What BTC Chart Is Pointing To?

Bitcoin is forming a cup and handle off the June low with the handle currently compressing at $64,813.

A daily close above $65,000 triggers the pattern, projecting a 13% move toward $72,500 on a confirmed breakout.

Meanwhile, the 20-day SMA at $64,392 has crossed above the 50-day SMA at $63,273, the first early bullish crossover signal in months.

Moreover, Bitcoin is down 44% over the past 12 months, keeping this a recovery story rather than a confirmed new uptrend.
