01:42 AM EDT, 08/09/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DFM:DEWA), d/b/a DEWA, noted that the number of digital transactions in the first half rose year over year. The utility company's clients made more than 7.4 million digital transactions in the six months ended June, compared with 7.2 million a year ago, according to an Aug. 8 release. DEWA noted that the interim period logged more than 1.2 million website transactions, over 2.8 million smart app transactions, and more than 3.4 million transactions on partner-supported platforms.
