Budget Saudi Posts Decline in H1 Attributable Profit; Revenue Rises

(SASE:4260), d/b/a Budget Saudi, said Sunday its attributable profit for the first half dropped, while revenue increased year over year. Net profit attributable to shareholders of the issuer for the six months ended June 30 was 127.8 million Saudi riyals, compared with 168.4 million riyals earlier. EPS moved to 1.23 riyals from 1.62 riyals. The Saudi Arabia-listed vehicle leasing and rental services company's revenue was 1.19 billion riyals, compared with 1.09 billion riyals a year ago. Meanwhile, the board declared an unchanged interim cash dividend of 0.5 riyal per share for the period, payable on Sept. 1 to shareholders on record Thursday.
