H-Power Advances Ammonia Engine Project with Japan's Komatsu

04:45 AM EDT, 08/10/2026 (MT Newswires) -- H-Power (HPOW.L) said Monday it completed the first phase of its $2 million joint development agreement with Japanese heavy equipment manufacturer Komatsu for a new ammonia-fueled engine platform. The project covers the design and integration of the AIM-listed company's proprietary ammonia cracking technology into a Komatsu industrial internal combustion diesel engine. The next and final phase involves delivering the integrated model and demonstrating its viability. It will take place from September 2026 to December 2027.
