06:39 AM EDT, 08/10/2026 (MT Newswires) -- The European Commission on Monday approved the acquisition of eight retail and service outlets of German automaker Mercedes-Benz Group (MBG.F) by UK-based Global Auto Holdings (Topco). The deal relates mainly to the distribution of motor vehicles and spare parts, and the provision of certain after-sales services in the Berlin metropolitan area. The regulator concluded that the transaction would not raise competition concerns due to the companies' limited combined market position.
