The Zhitong Finance App learned that Boan Biotech (06955) rose more than 3% in the morning. As of press release, it had risen 2.76% to HK$4.84, with a turnover of HK$10.104,500.

According to the news, recently, Boan Biotech announced that the company's marketing license application for abacip intraocular injection solution (BA9101) has been submitted to Brazil's National Health Administration (ANVISA) to treat neovascularization (wet) age-related macular degeneration (NaMD) and diabetic macular edema (DME) in adults.

BA9101 is a biosimilar of EYLEA® (EYLEA ®), which was approved for marketing in China in November 2025 (Chinese product name: Boyoujing ®). As one of the key varieties of the company's global development strategy, BA9101's overseas layout is expanding at an accelerated pace. In June 2025, the company signed an exclusive licensing cooperation agreement with Shenzhen Kexing Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Kexon Pharmaceuticals, authorizing the latter to exclusively sell BA9101 in all countries and regions other than mainland China, the European Union, the United Kingdom, the United States and Japan. Currently, the registration and listing of this product in the relevant regions is progressing according to the established plan.
