04:24 AM EDT, 08/11/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Harena Rare Earths (HREE.L) signed a mining terms and conditions agreement with Madagascar's Ministry of Mines for its Ampasindava ionic clay rare earth project, completing the mining regulatory process. The signature will enable the UK-listed rare earths company to advance the project to the next development phase, including a proof-of-concept pilot plant and an on-site laboratory, according to a Tuesday release. Harena Rare Earths will now prioritize progressing the environmental and social studies, stakeholder engagement and public consultation required to secure an environmental permit for the project.
