05:26 AM EDT, 08/11/2026 (MT Newswires) -- RBC Capital Markets raised its price target and earnings forecasts for Next plc (NXT.L) after the British retailer published its fiscal second-quarter trading update. "NEXT released a Q2 trading update last week which was stronger than expected, driven by very strong international sales. We think this should be supportive for an ongoing gradual re-rating, as NEXT transitions to become valued more as a global growth retailer," according to a Monday note on European retailers. Against this backdrop, analysts lifted its fiscal 2027 and 2028 profit before tax and EPS estimates by 2%, reflecting anticipated profit growth across Next International and Retail as well as expected higher contributions from equity investments such as Reiss. The research firm also raised the outperform-rated stock's price target to 170 pounds sterling from 163 pounds.
